Forty-one-year-old John Pierce walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage carrying more than just a song.
He carried years of postponed dreams.
A music teacher from Wales, now living in Essex, John had spent his life helping others believe in their talent. But when he became a father, his own musical dreams slowly moved to the background. Providing for his family came first.
But one person never stopped believing in him — his daughter.
Her dream was simple: she wanted to see her dad on BGT.

John chose Radiohead’s powerful song “Creep,” but nerves hit him hard. His first attempt was shaky, and the judges gently encouraged him to start again.
