Ten-year-old Emanne Beasha, hailing from Northport, Florida, captivated the America’s Got Talent (AGT) judges the moment she walked onto the stage. Her innocent demeanor and soft speaking voice immediately charmed the panel, especially when she talked about her dad owning an ice cream factory—which she happily confirmed was the “best job ever.” Despite her small stature and nervous introduction, Emanne was clearly ready to perform, creating a stark contrast between her youthful appearance and the enormous vocal power she was about to unleash.
Emanne chose to perform a piece of opera, a genre demanding immense technical skill and vocal maturity. As she began to sing, the audience and judges were immediately struck by the sheer magnitude of her voice. A deep, rich, and powerful soprano poured out of her “tiny body,” filling the auditorium with a sound usually associated with seasoned adult performers. The precision and range of her vocals were flawless, demonstrating a talent level that completely defied her age and size. She delivered a masterful performance that earned her an immediate and massive standing ovation.
The judges were left completely mesmerized by the shocking delivery. Howie Mandel, speaking for everyone, exclaimed, “How does that voice come out of that little body? Wow!” Julianne Hough praised not just her voice, but her presence, noting that Emanne was “so confident and so true to who you are.” Simon Cowell, though usually critical, was clearly delighted, jokingly attributing her talent to “magic ice cream.” Emanne Beasha easily secured a unanimous four “yeses,” advancing with an audition that left no doubt that she was a true operatic prodigy.
